Alcatraz Themepark Alcatraz prison was once home of the most dangerous criminals in america and it was built to keep them locked inside for a long time. Themeparks are for children and familes for a day out and to have fun and play. If the old alcatraz island is converted into a themepark then the place which used to be a danger and sadness, is now a fun filled place of enjoyment the whole family can take part in! This model took the longest at 5 hours as all the small details were very fiddely. To make all the attractions like the ferris wheel, water slide, roller coaster and needle tower, I used coloured straws with pipe cleaners bent into shape.
The "Discord" is that the Alcatraz an old prison meant to keep in prisoners is now a fun themepark for everybody!

ha ha if Alcatraz doesnt support enough money to keep it a historical landmark it might as well be be renovated and recreated into this. getting to Alcatraz is already a bitch though, been there twice and its really neat

Hinze, but the maiden name of my mother (that's who's closest related to him) was Kirkland. I'm not entirely sure if they had the same last names, seeing as how the family ties always got screwed up with them.(I really need to keep up more with my family history).

Oh! I love the straws! It's like a burst of color in an otherwise dreary world. It's actually, quite clever. I like it a lot.

There's nothing else on it that is colorful and it just makes it pop. If you thought about it in the sense of a theme park, if everything was dark and gray then you had neon color rides. They would stand out.
