You're welcome! I'm sure you worked very hard to get it to look so real!

oh man 3d art looks so hard. this looks really good though! I would have thought this was a picture if it wasn't in the 3d art category!! how long did this take you? (3d looks so useful for backgrounds but CAD is slow going...)

Yay!! I'm really happy it looks good!! It took me around... maybe 5 hours to do? I'm not really sure but thanks to a lot of shortcuts and such it went by pretty quick~ (What's CAD? I use Maya...)

Wow! Thats shorter than I expected! (Still long if you're impatient like me tho lol)
CAD (it's short for computer aided design) is a drafting program where you can model engineering stuffs! it's more for modelling part than for environments tho so I haven't reeeealy spent too much time with it art-wise
Maya looks super cool tho! Although I get it and blender mixed up sometimes lol

Oh that's good! Having a good prof can really make or break a class!
Yeah! It's pretty cool! I used it a lot at work this summer (editing electrical drawings ye) but I haven't really used it this semester. (Maybe I'll post some of my assignments from my CAD class next semester tho? I don't expect them to be too artsy tho haha)
Oooo! That's cool! I'll have to check it out :3c

aa that's good to hear!
sort of! it's mostly used for engineering so it can also be used for electrical layouts and designing smaller parts for machines too! I can't find pictures of the model I made, but in grade 11 or 12 I modeled this little dinosaur pencilsharpener and 3d printed it! Untitled Untitled Untitled so that was pretty cool!

Aaa thank you!! It was a lot of fun to model!!! (and 3D printing is always cool lol) it's sitting in my desk at home rn since I didn't wanna lose it at uni, but it definitely works!

I understand that! I wouldn't take something so precious to school either! But it's still awesome! <3 Can you paint 3d prints so it has color?? Or does the machine do it or something??

I think you can paint 3d printed pieces? They're just plastic, but idk if you'd need a special kind of paint so it doesn't flake off? (I was planning on painting it when I printed it but I never got around to it haha)
