Description

In the White forest

In the white forest,
where not one tree doth ever sleep,
'tiss where time dwells,
the old and grumpy man.
his long white locks,
he wears, over his shoulders; care,
he has not for any he who ventures in.
he will come sit with him,
look out into the distance,
will he for him,
and for the seeing possible,
things that are yet to come,
will he make for him.
If he asks him,
he will not change the rhythm of his speech,
nor adjust the theme of the precisest words,
will he be willing to do change.
If he doth lost his temper,
and doth push him,
stand up he will, and into the bushes disappear.
Alone then he the one who ventured in, will be,
within those woods of white,
be warned,
they be not snow, and neither melt of pass like her they would.
Alone you are in them,
then woods of white so everlasting, his domain,
and none, none's scream or cry can bring him back then,
unless the everlasting and all powerful may reach his arm,
to pet his shoulder and command,
him to return a second time.

These be them, the woods of white, that house him,
old man Time.
