She dances, never stops, never stands still. So lively, the dragons say. So eager. One day you’ll settle down, one day you’ll learn to appreciate the moments of tranquillity.

So cold.

She dreads that day.

She vaguely remembers her mother. You are beautiful, her mother laughed. I’d think you are a firebird if I didn’t know better.

So, so cold. What an irony.

She doesn’t feel like a bird. She feels like the worst kind of lizard.

Being born as a dragon with no control over body temperature is bad already. For an Ice dragon though? Atrociously cruel.

She is always cold. Never knew any better.

In Ice lair she didn’t stand a chance. Her parents sent her to Fire. It seemed like a good idea at first, but then she was found too close to the lava pool, almost on fire, but still not warm enough. Her burns healed well. Somewhere along the way her parents stopped contacting her.

Light was the second best choice. At least she wouldn’t die in lava pool. She still managed to get her share of heatstrokes though.

The Fire clan didn’t just toss her away. They gave her this strange creature that summons the fire around her. It keeps her alive at night when there is no sun or when she is forced to stop dancing and give a few hours of sleep to her exhausted body.

She is scared of ice. She can’t bring herself to look in a mirror.
Francis, oh, her beautiful Francis, she loves him, loves him so much, but she just can’t…

Cold.

She wants to cry, but too afraid that nothing but frozen liquid will come out of her eyes.
