Well With the new Touhou 14: Double Dealing Character Demo out of course I was eager to draw them. (Though I am eager to Draw every Touhou character)Though my first thoughts to hearing the demo to 14 was out...
1) "What?? 14 is out?? I'm not used to the 13 characters yet!" (For whatever reason)
2) " I Need to see what the characters look like!"
3) *looks at them* "What?? They look so different! They don't even look like Touhou characters!" (DDC rejected)
4) *Looks at them more* They are Awesome!
Haha see I thought they looked so different (Mostly Kagerou Imaizumi) and at first denied them for it. However I realized I loved them for their uniqueness and scolded myself for my narrow mindedness (Normally I would not be this way) I just loved them and needed to draw them. ^^
I Really love Kagerou Imaizumi's design however I would have to say Sekibanki is my favorite ^^ Haha I just feel so connected to her for what ever reason, like I do to Nue, I Even have a shirt like Sekibanki's haha. I must cosplay her at some point ^^
Anyway I am quite happy with how this came out ^^ I have new paper and I think I am improving in my art. I Hope you enjoy as well!

My reaction was the same when 13 came out xD But after some time I began to love the characters. All of them. (Mostly Seiga ♥).
But I liked the DDC characters after I saw them the first time. I think I had problems with TD because Yuyuko was the first boss. xD
And in the new demo are just all new characters so there is no reason to have a problem with them
Anyway, the drawing is really cool. I like Sekibanki the most. She looks really badass ♥

Haha yes that is true the cirno is a midboss in the demo at least not a main boss ^^ I love them too. And thank you about Sekibanki ^^ haha I feel like every time I draw her she will look badass like that haha ^^

well there's the fact that actually Zun sems to have based DDC in western mitology
(aka selkie/merdamid,dulahan,werewolf)

Yes that is true ^^ though some believe Sekibanki may also be a nukebi or rokurokubi, ^^ but you know how ZUN is with specifics haha. I think it is interesting that he is expanding the mythology in Touhou.

Ah Yes ^^ I like her very much as well, I love her unique to Touhou yet signature werewolf hair color, It is so lovely and her design so different, I really enjoy it ^w^

I'm Sure there will be ^^ It takes time to produce quality works in the audio world. (My significant other is an audio engineer and does Touhou remixes and such ^^ ) So yes I am sure there will be soon enough, I can't wait to see others art as well <3

Lately, ZUN has been answering a lot of requests from fans. Ya know, sakuya, mermaids, werewolves, something AWESOME might happen to excite us!

Something awesome like...Mimas return? (nah, I don't think so. She should had to be back in TD but she wasn't there (my heart broke when I realized that, because she would have fit perfectly))
But I hope that maybe an older character returns. I like this because returning characters often have new designs. And hopefully stage 6 and extra stage's theme will be badass enough for many arranges and remixes that are even more badass
