Okay so here's a new OC! She's not supposed to be for a specific fandom but i just wanted to make her. I hope you guys like her!

Name: Malla

Age: 17

Height: 5'2" (157.48 cm)

Race: Nip*

Animal: Chinchilla

Gender: Female

Hair Color: Gray

Eye Color: Green

Likes: Running, eating, hanging out with Mason, vegetables, dust baths (if you are confused on this one, I'll explain. Chinchillas can't bathe in water because it will ruin their fur. So they clean themselves by taking dust baths.)

Dislikes: Being made fun of, sitting for too long, the shelter she grew up in, water

Personality: Malla has Bipolar Disorder so her personality switches around frequently. When she is happy, she will do anything nice for people such as holding doors open, giving up her seat, and more. When she's mad, she will lash out at anyone, even if it's someone she really cares for. She can get violent at some points too if it gets too bad. When she is sad, Malla will shut down and ignore just about everyone. She can cry for a long time depending on how sad she is. When she's not going through mood swings, she can be a bit stubborn when she doesn't want to do something or try something new. She is hesitant when interacting with new people she doesn't trust. When she gets to know someone however, she will open up to them about everything. She will let out all her emotions out around them even is she is scared to do so.

Backstory:

Malla’s family is unknown. She was brought to a shelter for other Nips like her. Nips are hybrids between humans and animals. Malla is a hybrid of a human and a Chinchilla. Because of this, she is very agile and can jump really well. Growing up in the shelter, she would always get into trouble along with all the other kids who were mice, rats, and more.

Because she was a rarer animal breed that wasn’t seen often, she was made fun of as a kid. Her ears were a lot larger than most of the others and her tail was long.

Malla also had some severe behavioral problems when she was younger. She’d tend to lash out when she was angry and would also shut down, refusing to do much of anything. She would switch between emotions so easily that she scared some of the kids. The people who ran the shelter eventually gave up and took her to a doctor to see why she always misbehaved.

Malla ended up being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. She’s refused to take medicine and just decided to deal with the symptoms on her own.

When she was 16 years old, she left the shelter and began living on the streets. She would steal just to survive.

One day, she met a young human boy named Mason. He had a lot of food and it seemed he’d just been to the store. Malla approached him hesitantly when she saw him in the park. The boy looked at her and gave her some food once he noticed how skinny she was.

Mason later invited Malla into his house so she could have a temporary place to live. Over the weeks, Malla and Mason started to fall for each other and Malla ended up moving in with him permanently because Mason didn’t want to leave her on the streets.
