Tada! Meet the object of my attention for the last 2 days. This is my new kougra MALE character named Malion. Isn't he purdy? God the background was so iffy I don't even know what I was going for in the first place anymore o___O He was really fun to color and I know it will be nice to sketch him in the future. (Right now he's a jetsam by the way, blame the lab ray for that) So ya. This is my cute little malion. Everyone say hi ^___^umm I really wish I could say more on these descriptions but I'm always wordless when it comes time to describe it. Oh yes and I would love some critique if you have time!!!! especially on the background!

the only thing wrong with the background, its to wispy or something, i think that you should make it more solid with some black lines.

yeah I agree. It's really too blury and not defined enough. Like it looks like it's not done. I do that with a lot of backgrounds. I'll have to work on that, thanks.

Great picture! I don't mean to be rude, but are the trees supposed to look... creepy? They're kinda... haunted when it's curled at the end. >>; Just my opinion.

However, if you are uhm... looking for critiques, might I suggest making a rippled faint colored outline of him? Water normal has a tendancy to look a bit like a mirror and whatnot unless it's like, very dirty which this could be since hes in a swamp and all.... otherwise, FANTASTIC JOB.

This is gorgeous! Wow, I don't know what you were talking about with the background being iffy... the colors are so beautiful. I like how it's not ENTIRELY realistic... it's almost like a blend between realism and surrealism. Mmm... yummy. The one thing I will say that perhaps if you are looking for critique, one thing that would make this picture even more amazing is if you had kind of a fuzzy extension of her leg underwater? Usually when people stick limbs in water, unless it's really dark or dirty, you can see a blurry outline of the limb. I think that would be really cool. But that's just me.
