Description -they say time is the fire in which we all burn-


XD Another one of Vee!! I think I draw him the most (though I never finished the other drawings of him ). Hehe, his face is finally shown! Um... what to say? I suppose you could say that Vee is almost a "death" persona... but its more like he is connected to time >_> Which is why there is an hourglass and clock... *cough*

I actually drew this for christmas... XD Even though it doesn't seem like it. I was inspired by the Ghost of Christmas Future in the Christmas Carol~

Oh my god, the...I can't...where do I even BEGIN? The soft lighting, the (probably painstaking) detail put into every single wrinkle of fabric and tress of hair is just astounding! It gives a bit of an air of mystery, and something about your character is kind of innocent and threatening at the same time. The entire composition and angle of it is very nice, and the hourglass as well as the ribbon running around the scythe are nice touches. The impressionistic background is great as well. The entire piece just seeps awesome out of every orifice. <3

XD I used some pictures of forests for reference (I suck at drawing trees). Then I mostly just blocked them in and didn't worry about shading or anything, and I did the leaves with a regular brush, just making sure to vary the colours. Then I put some layers of patterns and different gradients to give it a feel of depth.

I love the lighting, and the movment of his hair is beautiful, really.
And your right, even with out the hour glass and clock he would still give off a sence of "time", or rather "time stands still"
