Yo takatsuya I finally did the thing.
This headcanon happens before I joined Illegibilus. Me and Taka were talking about Nate's bizarre laughing fit and how he reacts to puns, then Taka asked if Mercy could teach Nate some french.
And so, he did.
Ever since the both became classmate, Nate has frequently been Mercy's bully object by making him suffer from holding his laughter.
Yes, they are nerds who watched Dexter's lab.
Edit: I'm aware that the correct phrase should be "Omelette AU fromage" instead of "Omelette DU fromage". But I used the latter as a direct reference to Dexter's Lab, furthermore both Nate and Mercy realized it was wrong so all the more reason to laugh at. I'm sorry for the confusion!

Hello! I'm aware of the mistake and it was deliberated as a direct reference to Dexter's Lab (in that cartoon it's originally 'Omelette Du Fromage').
