Description So I didn't make it, this year I just didn't have time (ever notice that when it comes to school, every really big assignment tends to be due within a four day period?) so I bought this one at the Cheese Boutique... if you're in or around Toronto, like food at all, and haven't been, you must go. Probably one of my favorite places in the city.
It's called a Chocolate Dumas... and it's pretty much a hazlenut and chocolate lover's dream. Yum!

the yeast proofed properly? looked like strange beige vomit in a container? and warm stuff helps it rise faster i'm making that dough now too, lol, but i'm turning it into pitas for greek foods

heh. so. Before I started, I told myself I'd post a picture of it. But now that I'm done and have a mildly pizza-like mass of [theoretically] edible things, I think I'll have to make at least one more (for practice) before I show you any pictures

Yep. Well, not sure how vomity the yeast looked. It looked like a layer of vomit on top of some water? And I think I did that kneading business for too long (forgot to check the time and eventually just kinda did what I thought might just be 10 min. ) and turned my tomatoes into juice dunno if me forgetting about the removing seeds step had somethin' to do with it? hehehe... I will get it right eventually though!!! At least I feel like I'm learning things!

Greek foods! That stuff is some tasty business

lol, you can't really knead it for too long by hand... it should have gotten smooth and hard to knead by the end, yes? the watery business is indeed the lack of seed removal, it should be kind of the same texture as a slushy

and i'm glad you enjoyed it, what'd you stick on it?

just onions to be honest I thought I had other stoof, but when I got home I realized that they were the only thing I had that I actually enjoy on pizza And too be honest, I kindof onions. So I put a bunch

haha, yeeeah, when I noticed how watery the tomatoes came out I thought "whoops! did I skip somethin? oh. dammit. i did. and i'm not headin' back to the store for tomatoes." So I just kinda tried to pour it onto the dough and make sure it didn't leak off

And to be honest, I didn't really notice the difference in texture in the dough when I was kneading. But that might just be my n00b-ness hahaha

eventually it stops being super sticky and gets smooth, kinda like clay or play dough or something
