"Hungry But Chic" was the actual Kookai 2012 winter fashion campaign. I find its message disgusting, implying that one's superficial beauty justifies starvation and all.

When I came across this ad, I was particularly disappointed as this company was previously known for its empowerment of women. They used to represent sassy and confident girls, who would count men to fall asleep ! Where did that all go, huh ?

Media is really influential and has the power to positively impact people. When Kookai traded in its audacious image for the easy buck, they sold out and lost ALL of my respect.
