Inspired by the song of the same title, Cosmic Love by Florence and the Machine [link] Not just that, but I fell in love with the midnight sky all over again after my awesome camping trip earlier this month. Laid on the beach at night and just watched the stars in the sky. That was my main inspiration. It was perfect.---

Hey, very interesting piece. I like how abstract this piece is. Because of that, having correct anatomy doesn't play an important role instead because you drew it a certain way, it makes the piece seem more fluid and flowy. Nice work with the angle of her face. I also like how you did the midnight sky. Beautiful.

Yes, I wanted her hair to be a part of the sky too like it's all one thing, although it seems more distinct than I wanted it to be. The texture was like an accidental experiment. I had to take a photo of the drawing instead of scanning it and darkening the levels of the sketch made the graininess more apparent and I just colored over it.
