Beautiful wolves Chobek, a very interesting ruffly looking fur you've given them.

I very much like the rays piercing the right area behind the trees, the lovely thicker lines you added to those background trees give such an interesting feeling..kinda as if they were cut from cardboard and glued here, awesome 3D feel ! Reminds me of the 3D books my dad used to buy me when i was young
Great wolfs i especially like the one in the mid looking at us, he gives a nice transition from top part to bottom

I think I might try to rescan or tweak it a bit ... I wanted the Wolfs to be sort of absorbed by the surroundings, but in the original there is a bit more differentiation... my scanner seemd to have a hard time picking up on the subtleties between warm vs cool grey ....it,s not a huge deal though....
For many reasons I am happy it reminds you of a 3d book..... (I am kind of assuming that is a pop-up book) I collect those .... well I have a collection, I kind of stopped because they got a bit expensive and I moved on to other things.

Now that you mention i do see how some of the grey is warm ( like the wolf with its head lowered .. the poison ivy ) but indeed they do quite merge together.. 
I'm always sure your works look even better in real life, no scanner/photograph is good enough(yet)(hopefully yet...) to reveal all the true colors ..
