I sighed. The place was pretty crowded. I was wondering if Sollux was really ok in taking me here. And of course, what is so important that he wanted to hang out, especially outside? It's the human world, and of course, people would question Sollux. Maybe even be frightened of him. It actually worried me. I offered to invite him over and we could of played games like we usually do but instead he wanted to take me outside, do some shopping and experience the human lifestyle. Maybe.. just maybe this is a good time to tell him my red feelings.

I looked up at the clock, I wonder if I came too early.. my thoughts soon disappeared when I heard Sollux's voice alert my ears. "[Name]!" I stood up and saw him running, waving in my direction. So he really dared to come outside.. not even changing what he looked like. I am terrified for him. He finally reached his destination and stopped in front of me, giving me a somewhat grin. "Thorry, how long were you waiting?"
"Not long, I came here like, ten minutes ago." he chuckled a bit, I noticed the people walking by give Sollux weird looks, I was dreadfully concerned now. It even showed on my face as Sollux even gave me questionable look. "Sollux, aren't you a little.. daring showing yourself around like this?" he scoffed and waved it off like a bad bee. "I don't care, [name], if they have a problem with it, then that'th their fault." he finished with a smirk. I smiled, Sollux, cocky as usual. I looked at myself, wondering if I was a bit over dressed. I somehow convinced myself it was like a.. date of the sort, with a nice helping in hand from mum of course. She decided I should dress up a bit. I pulled the fabric of the yellow dress and clicking the black flats together. I would of preferred to wear more me-like clothing like shorts and a top or jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. "You look nice, don't worry about it [name]." he smiled, making my heart flutter. He took my hand, well, rather grabbed two fingers with his two and held onto them and began to walk.

"Sollux?" he turned to my direction with an eyebrow raised, "Yeth?" I looked around us and towards where we were walking. "Where are we going?" he shrugged and looked back into the direction he had his eye on. "I don't know." I stared at him a bit and laughed, speeding up a bit so I could walk beside him. "Soooo..." I trailed off, smiling, interested in why the sudden interest in human lifestyle as he was never into it before I met him as far as Karkat had told me. "Tho?" he gave me a questionable look on his face, raising an eyebrow once again. "Why'd you want to go out and 'experience human lifestyle.'?" he shrugged and smirked, "Oh you know.."
"I know what? I know what? C'mon Soll, don't leave me hanging!" I pouted in annoyance, he sure knew how to get under my skin sometimes, I didn't particularly liked to be left out on something. He chuckled, half smiling, half smirking. "You'll thee.".

We arrived in front of an ice cream cart, Sollux had great curiosity in his eyes as well as excitement, grinning. "Was this the reason you wanted to come here? Cause you never had ice cream before?" I looked up to him, blinking sheepishly, he looked down with the cutest, purest, most innocent looking poker face ever, "Yeth." we looked at each other for a moment until I burst out from laughter. I had to hold my side and keep my laughter in, not to disturb the people walking past, who weren't already disturbed enough from looking at Sollux, which I didn't like. I rubbed the tear away from my eye and calmed down, looking at Sollux who still had the same face but now, very much so confused with it slightly tilting to the left. I smiled to him and guided him to the cart, the man had a surprised look on his face when he caught a look of Sollux but continued on his merry way of asking the usual question, "What would you like you two?" I looked over at Sollux who was eyeing the colours before he saw the colours Raspberry and Blueberry, the same colour as his eyes and glasses. I already knew what I was going to get, no questions asked, just give me all of it- "Can I have one cone with Raspberry and Blueberry, and one cone with banana and butterscotch please." I grinned at the man who smiled cheerily, scooping the flavors into the cone and on top of the first scoop, handing it to Sollux who took it and held it, possibly worshiping the ice cream mentally. I had to let go of Sollux's fingers to fetch for money which I was lucky to bring just in case. The man handed me my cone and I paid him some money, in which I was kind enough to let him keep the change. He smiled gratefully towards us and waved goodbye. It felt nice for someone to give Sollux the benefit of the doubt.

We both crashed down on a nearby bench that was overlooking a nice, wide pond with pretty swans in it, but of course, Sollux was too busy having a staring contest with his ice cream. "Go on, or it'll melt." he noted my speech and licked the Raspberry and then the Blueberry, smiling. "It'th good." I laughed then began eating mine, Sollux looked over in the corner of my eye, I looked back, he moved closer and took a lick out of my ice cream. I stared at him, he shined brightly at the new discovered tastes of ice cream, or really, ice cream in general. "Here, have thome of mine." he gestured the ice cream closer, I blushed faintly and licked a bit off the side that was closest to me. I nodded my head, "It tastes nice, yum!" he smiled at me and continued enjoying the flavors of his matched colours.

I was now entranced by the pond, well, lake as it was quite big. Suddenly a hand had prompted up onto mine, as I attempted to take it back, the other hand, wanted otherwise. I looked up to find Sollux coolly holding it down with a smirk upon his face, so now was he playing with my feelings? Bah, he won't get get the best of me! Hahahaha- Sollux began talking which snapped me away from my triumph of self worshiping, "[Name]?" I looked up and over my shoulder to stare at him. "Yes~?" I cooed out to him, before laughing a bit, "Can I athk you thomething?" I was now curious. Interested, I raised an eyebrow, now completely forgot the stares of other people and how his hand is still gripping onto mine. More or so, I kind of forgot our relationship of where it stood because of this.

"Well.. I've been feeling red for thith girl thometime now but I'm not thure whether her feelingth for me are the thame or lethth. I even planned thith WHOLE date for her and thhe thtill doethn't underthtand." Ouch. That probably ruined my whole day. Literally. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. I smiled forcefully, ignoring my impending broken heart shatter into pieces like shards of glass. "W-Well.. did you kiss her?" he thought for a moment, shaking his head. "No." as I was about to say something, my vision of Sollux enlarged as he came closer and closer to my face until he was inches away, "Not yet." he smirked and pushed his lips onto mine. It took me a while to register that I was kissing my flushcrush, that and he was my first kiss so I was unsure of what to do. I fumbled back to kiss him as well, very poorly at my bet. Sollux pulled away and smirked but in the same sense, smiled warmly, I stared at him blankly, heat rising to my cheeks faster than I run to the kitchen to grab food. I stared at the beautiful image of my crush, who had just kissed me, with cute little forms of blush at the tips of his cheeks and ears, hoping to get a mental picture that I would never forget.

Suddenly, I felt a drip pour down onto my hand, I stared over at it, still dream fazed and noticed my ice cream was dying on me, it was too late to give it cpr, I squealed, lapping down the suicidal ice cream, frantically. Sollux, to his luck had already finished his while I was in my daze with the lake earlier, to my unfortunate, began laughing at me as this was a first sight of me panicking like such. Sollux took a hold of my hand, that was holding the ice cream, and began lapping at the other side, staring into my eyes, forcing me to close mine out of embarrassment, blushing harder and fiercer like a burning flame devouring a forest.

It was time for us to separate. I'll have to thank my mum for convincing me this was a date, cause in the end, it really was. I waved goodbye to Sollux as he did the same for me, a few meters apart. I watched him turn and something in me clicked, I ran and wrapped my arms from behind Sollux, startling him. "I- I have red feelings for you too Sollux!" I confessed, in rather high pitch, Sollux chuckled and turned around, hugging my waist, bringing me closer and nuzzled his face into the nook of my neck, breathing in my scent. I wrapped my arms around his neck, something about this felt just right. "Matethprit." he cooed, I nodded against his shoulder, smiling, "Matesprit.".
