I made his pattern and cut out the fabric almost a year ago. I just decided yesterday to go ahead and finish him.He turned out much better then expected, I love him so much!
He has a makeshift wire frame on the inside to help him stand. Its not the most sturdy because I ran out of wire, but it works much better than I thought it would. His hooves are made from corduroy, his antlers from cotton sateen. The rest of his body is mostly minky and luxury faux fur with a few fleece details.
He stands 21" tall!

Are you making any more of these? My daughter begged for one for christmas but I couldn't find any. She really wants winter sawbuck and saw this one online when she googled it and she is crying over it. Please let me know. I know this post is a couple years old.
