Very beautiful piece of art. I love all the shades of red and those warm sunset colours.
Moreover I like the message behind this picture how Anzu will have to deal with her feelings after Atemu leaves.
It's a very scetchy fanart but it has a deep meaning and feels both poetic and sad.
The way she tries to touch him although he is transparent has some really sad edge to it.
You ought to love their relationship and all the emotions between them. ♥

This is stunning. I love how she's grasping out to a semi-transparent Atem. The way how you've made her hand makes it seem like she's grasping out to the dead, and judging by the angular design and lengthened size of her hands/fingers, it's taking a tole on her. One should not yearn and linger on the dead, and that idea is definitely what she'd need to deal with after Atem leaves.
Love the quote and love the artwork. Both are very poetic with deep meanings.

Letting go of the dead to move on with the flow of life is indeed a painful thing to do, especially when you didn't get the chance to tell them a proper goodbye. Yet, it is a necessary thing - if only because of life's transience.
Hopefully she will get to see Atem again in afterlife.
