Seriously, this happened to me yesterday
The short-haired one is me. Pleh.
(I do own a shirt like that, and although my favourite colours are blue, yellow and green I happen to have lots of purple stuff in my closet
like this very handy shoulder bag I'm holding in this comic
)...And the braided girl over there is my friend Artemis
(she will probably be furious and pouty if she finds out that I chibified her and posted our little conversation here
heehee)Artemis just loves comics (DC and Marvel ones especially, not much of an anime/manga-lover actually) and she's kind of....uhm, OBSESSED about "Batman and Robin", and Robin is, by far, her ever favourite character
...But she always tends to call me a geek for being a nature enthusiast, and because I like to read and learn stuff about plants, herbs, botanology and wildlife.
I don't know, maybe we both are geeks after all!

I'm exactly like your friend. I love DC, Anime, manga, comics and I am absolutly Batman ad Robin upsest. Although I do like knowing about the animal kingdom, and I also love red brest Robins too, their so cute.

I'm a nature enthusiast as well. Amateur Cryptozoologist, and I work part time at the Herpetology department at the local zoo.

Teehehe! I'm with you though, liking comics is definitely geekier not to say that's a bad thing of course!
You also have a friend named Artemis; which is really rather cool! I love it how lots of Greek people are named after the gods; I wish more people were called Wotan or Thunor or Sulis or Wayland in Britain!
P.S. I haven't said recently, but I love the turn your comics' setting has taken recently; Henry VIII is such a horrible character, it's great to have him as a bad guy! He'd definitely be anti something as cool as magic (especially if there was teh gayness involved)
