Sorry about all this random plot stuff.. Kinda terrible of me to be putting stuff out and leaving a whole lot of it ambiguous. ;_;

Question- What is the Winx Club and the Company of Light, especially Oritel and Miriam, doing while Bloom and Daphne go against the Shadow Phoenix? Surely they wouldn't leave them to fight him alone?

The company of light is fighting with them. This scene takes place in an attack none of them saw coming. No one understood the villain until this scene. Mariam and Oritel did not go with them as they were watching over the kingdom of Domino. It was the Winx, the specialists, Daphne and Thoren and their best soldiers that fought the first of many battles after.

Such a powerful clash! It's great to see Daphne (and the Shadow Phoenix) in action! Especially with Daphne it's impressive because you have the light vs. dat contrast and the red vs. green contract. It's very effective and I love how they both display such tremendous energy.
I also like how Daphne's wings look like and extension of her neck piece <3
I feel like this picture is a sister piece to what we saw previously in your dump: What A Dump (Almost Magical crap) . There is definitely a great dragon vs. shadow phoenix thing going on in your webcomic. Can't wait for more!
