("World of Winx") Just found out there's a spin-off... hrmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... >_>I'm not buying it.... Still, can't hurt to dream that Rainbow won't f**k this one up.
The moment you realize that you're getting old and cynical. :v Sigh... Oh, and that winx story-writing doesn't appeal to you anymore.

Saw the trailer yesterday and it was all just "We must make Tinker Bell good again and bring her back to Peter Pan!" and a ton of cheesy montage music most of the time.
Selene: Great Mother Dragon, kill me, I`m begging you...
Also I`m amazed that the new art style and animation managed to make things look even more ugly this time,I mean really. My childhood heroines look like cheap super models now. They`ve turned into Ty-Lee and her sisters from Avatar - absolutely identical, non of them is her own unique individual anymore. I hope I`m not getting sentimental but it`s very painful but also understandable to be honest. This franchise has been around for so long and some of the artists there must be completely wasted out of ideas.
Sorry for spreading so much feels, it`s best for all us to just stop worrying about this hopeless shallow and focus on "Almost Magical" - my new reason for living.
Me and the rest of your followers will keep you and your "non-cannonical" piece of art in our hearts forever,my friend.

It's okay. I know how you feel. All too well. A lot of us do. The current direction of the show inspires me the most tbh. But it also makes me really sad because less and less people appreciate this show now.

Honestly, I wouldn´t mind if Rainbow stopped working on Winx Club and would continue WoW instead. At least for a while. I mean, I´ve only seen the first 4 episodes by now, but those were way better than the past 2 seasons of Winx Club, in my opinion.
Winx Club just suffers a severe case of character overdose: Kiko, six main protagonists (Winx), Kiko, the girls´ boyfriends, Kiko...
Seriously, I don´t now how many people on Earth saw Kiko, but if I´d see a girl with a blue pet rabbit, that could walk on its hind legs, I´d either call PETA (since, you know, rabbits aren´t supposed to be blue), the animal control (same reason as PETA, actually) or Area 51 (You know why).

actually, it's kind of different. They're thinner, taller, and yes, the line effect. They look super delicate and they seek to be doing that whole couture style thing they've been doing for recent promotional works.

ok imagine it IS good and the plot isn't just what i think it is
but eventually, like most shows, as seasons go on, the writing and inspiration for episode writing dies and
then it gets worse and worse and worse
and its done this progressively with winx
hell, who even knows if they have good writers producing this? i'm scared about this honestly

At this point, I think that ultimately it would be a really entertaining idea if the Winx basically become megalomaniacs obsessed with power, and a rebellion has to stop them from taking over the universe. I call this the "Kim Jong Bloom" storyline!

and winx lost it's heart and charm along the way as they became more and more famous
they're literally treated like actual goddesses and not like normal people we can relate to :S
i get bloom's scenario (bleh, unfortunately :S hahah remember when she used to be humble) because she's a famous princess from a land where the dragonfire dwells. hell. bloom has the dragon inside her.
but everyone else?? like....what's so special. honestly if bloom wasn't around, the rest of them would not be treated like they are now?

Bloom reminds me here of that white haired woman in the Incredibles (but in a good way): calm, calculated, but still warm hearted.
I am curious about the serie, but the plot sounds like every other plot of winx club.
