Hey everyone!

Sorry if I have not been too active, I have so much on my mind at the moment! I recently got into another cartoon, and it’s called “Let’s Go Luna”. It teaches viewers primarily about different countries across the world and about all of the things that is in store there, like their food, language, history, customs, and the like. I find that really cool and I bet people could learn a lot from a show like that! It airs on PBS Kids and it is made by one of my personal favorite cartoonists, Joe Murray, the guy that made Rocko and Camp Lazlo. Overall I think LGL is very cute! I have seen at least three episodes (on YouTube specifically) and I really dig it now so I am pretty much hooked on it! Luna is one of my favorite PBS Kids characters now (next to Ruff Ruffman aka, Ruffie Bug)! I also made an AU as I do with every show / game I am into usually.

Also I know that the show was targeted originally towards people wayyyy younger than me (specifically 4-7 years) but I seriously can’t help but admire it to bits! Luna is just so fun to doodle! I have done a few drawings of Luna but this was the first one that I actually finished. Before I made this I threw around a couple ideas. But then after some thinking I thought “hey wouldn’t it be cool if Luna had another moon friend that she could relate to?”

And that’s where I got the idea for Keita, he’s an OC in my AU. I plan on talking more about him in an “info sheet” whenever I have the time to make one. Keita is a moon who spends most of his time around another planet outside of Earth at nighttime (but he would honestly much rather spend his time elsewhere).

His main favorite pastimes are exploring many places, learning new things, and dancing (just like Lunes! ), going on long walks (especially by the beach), writing poems (especially for Luna), taking naps, and eating hot comfort foods and sipping hot teas.

He deeply cares about Luna as a best friend, and they have a very tight bond. They also are romantically involved (in a way). They just look so sweet when they’re together! If I were to represent this little pairing of mine with a song, I think a music box version of “Merry Go Round Of Life” would fit for them very nicely!

I am planning on making a story of sorts on how he and Luna met, but before I do that, I need to search up on some inspiration to get the juices flowing a bit, because I do not want to make it incredibly boring.

So anyways I hope you enjoyed this! It’s a bit of a style experiment. I got to play around with a bunch of stuff and effects! I also tried to better myself at backgrounds as well. If you want to draw backgrounds, then I really recommend Procreate! This looks so bad though… ugghhh I can’t draw Luna or my OC right even though I tried!!

As always if you dislike Let’s Go Luna, I am fine with your opinion just as long as you accept mine and move on with your life. I don’t want to hear anyone complaining - just be happy about what I post. If you don’t like it then don’t watch it (or look at my stuff)!
