I know furbies purr, but mine's speaker started going out. If I touched mine's tail it would fart at me lol.

It would lean forward and open it's mouth to purr but it would make a slow, scratchy fart noise.

It's just at my parent's house somewhere. The speaker doesn't work anymore on it.
The real furbies that still work, I think you can get them online. so many of them were bought just to be ruined by people who didn't like them that there are few that still work, sadly.
When we got them for christmas mine fell over in the wrapping paper before I opened it and it said "Wheeeee! Ahhhahahah!" And my sister and I started freaking out because we both really wanted furbies lol.

haha! i used to have one of those! mine never hibernated though, i couldn't figure out how to make it go to sleep and during the middle of the night he would randomly start saying something and it drove me NUTS!!! lol, i finally took out the batteries (which i hadn't thought of doing before, unfortunately ><
