Last Saturday while sleeping till the crack of noon I had the TV on and happen to catch the Iron Giant. I was impressed with this little film, sure it's for kids but good animation, 50's sci fi robots, a good story...what can I say, couldn't turn away.. Anyway I did this with some down time, I pathed and painted the robot, billboard and sky in Photoshop and threw in some tree photos with a median on them. This was taken from a scene where the robot successfully blends into a billboard behind him to avoid being seen by the beatnick artist guy.Edit 2/12/08

Besides, if that burger were a pizza, the poster would've been 'Cosmo Pizza' a parody of 'Pizza Planet ' like in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story .

How so? McDonald's doesn't really have the market cornered as far as the world of animated fiction is concerned. The restaurant of choice is usually Pizza Planet, but I'm glad to see a burger chain has finally decided to get a foothold.

This was probably one of my more favorite scenes in the movie, and you managed to capture it really well. I really like the detail and the likeness with the original scene in the movie. It would be perfect if people actually took the time to make billboards like this! rofl.
