Wow, this picture kinda.. kinda shows the effects of technology on japan. I can relate this to a peewee soccer game.. or a 3rd grade award ceremony. Children with their standardized papers and their cute outfits, worried faces and a childlike uncertainty of what they know will happen. Mom's on her cell phone, no use asking her for the hundredth time. Confusion, Everyone seems to know what to do, yet the scattering of people makes it seem disordered. Regardless of the reality of it, they should know, how American they look.
It's the waiting . . . It's technology, People who are caught up in the future love to wait and they hate it. They hate waiting for things but they'll do it, they'll wait and they'll wait, people spend half of their lives waiting in lines and you have to imagine that if you spend most of your time doing it you have to love it, to some degree. Even if you hate it, there's a strange hope that surrounds waiting, it's the prize; People are little more than empty treasure box hunters these days.
But it's a very American thing to love waiting, We're so damn lazy it's sick, and our own country has debates about the freedom of certain minorities while we let other minorities walk all over the majority. Two women can't marry but a black man whose great great grandfather was a slave deserves some kind of monetary consolation. I'm sorry sir, but if your grandfather was alive I'd be happy to award him reparations, what business do you have with them? When Am I going to get Reparations for those unfair taxes that England put on us? When is my Native American friend going to get money for the pilgrims that wiped out his ancestors with small pox? The answer is never, because I'm white and he's a big shot casino man. We don't deserve reparations, but for some reason you do?
Okay, Reparations for everyone with dark skin, but don't you dare let gays marry. Because, and I quote this from BUSH, "As Americans it is our duty, to protect the sanctity of marriage". Well, I don't expect much out of a president, but I would hope that he knows the bloody constitution. Last I checked church and state were SEPARATE, And it isn't my duty to even acknowledge the word sanctity because it is religion specific. It is more so my duty to protect the rights of my fellow man, and disregard religion as it effects (or rather should not effect) politics. Religion is an option, and I hope you, Bush, die slowly for daring to tell me that I have a duty to protect your sanctity you Holy-Rolling Nazi. Sorry, for all of you who hate America, you have good reasons. But it's out of my control, I just live here.
It's amazing how Off topic and on a tangent I get.. sorry.

I love how it appears that the mother is on the phone while the son just looks up at her in disgust almost. Great capture.
