Melvin is immature but mostly it only shows because of their age gap and with Freda being a very stoic and mature woman.Freda also is a lot more masculine than her husband, clearly, who is soft and short like a human marshmallow.
Melvin tends to act overly protective of Freda and often underestimates her toughness, despite Freda being a 6'3 no nonsense general of an army and built like a tree trunk, he's under the impression that she's a delicate flower. She doesn't humour this notion, he's just made up his mind on this.

Aaaah! Every piece I've seen from you lately has had such an amazing amount of -humanity- to it. The lines are sketchy, but the subjects seem so much like real people that I expect I know them from somewhere! I don't even care that I "know them" because they're swaps of characters I've seen before; I know this woman from real life, she's just too well-drawn to not be somebody. There's variety in form and subject and lighting and perspective, but it's still so recognizably your work. You've been doing some really gorgeous drawings lately, and this one's definitely one of them!

Even though I don't write down much here I try my best to write and make my characters somewhat believable despite them being somewhat cartoony XD I really enjoy working on these two characters dynamics cB
