You have no idea what a relief it is to hear that someone else "finds" characters the same way I do ^_^

Oh wow! Hey, it's so great to hear from you! I'm so glad you like Sophie and Lucas! Thank you!
hehehe It's not cheeky (people have asked before!)--I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 to color my drawings. I'll say this: Photoshop is wonderful to use, but... is stupid expensive. If you're not in the market to blow a bunch of cash on Photoshop CS3, look around for an older version of it, or check out prices for Photoshop Elements, which is an Adobe program that just gives you the absolute basic abilities Photoshop can do. The older versions also lose their hype with every new installment, but have the same basics as the newest--painting, pen tool, layer effects, and so forth--and since CS5 has just recently burst upon the Adobe scene, they get cheaper. There are other programs you could look into, as well--Illustrator, Corel Painter, and OpenCanvas. Those start to get back into pricey, but I know Painter has the Essentials version, much like PS Elements. I'm only covering the kings of coloring; there are a slew of other programs out there, some even that you might be able to just download for free online if you search something like "Coloring Programs."
And now that my book has been written, I'll just say that it's cool that you're wanting to start uploading art! I can't wait to see!

Very cool! You and Photoshop CS3 will be very happy, I think! That's really nice to get that discount, too (even if you'll have to use a little white lie lol). My school offered that, too, which is why I was able to get out of Photoshop 7 and leap to what was then the most updated version.
Yes, you can scan your drawings and bring them into Photoshop to color, no sweat! That's what I do all the time, even if I color them with a tablet. There's also a way to have the scan import automatically into Photoshop. When you're able to get it, you can always ask me questions on how to use it too! LOL You may be the first British person I've met who preferred the spelling "color" over "colour!" We balance each other out, though, because I've always liked "colour" better, myself! AND THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN, YES. I've been so busy with my film that I haven't gotten the chance, but I've wanted to get a group of friends together for Sophie and Lucas, but who had their own independent storylines as well. I'd love it if Matheas and Julio teamed up with them!

EEEEEEEHEHEEHEEHEE OH WONDERFUL! THANK YOU sooooo muuuuuchh! This'll be awesome! And yes, of course I thought of you! I remember how talented you are! I'm so excited! LOL The SAD thing is that I haven't come up with what exactly I'm going to do yet for my film next year. I just finished and turned in my film for this year, so I'm kind of completely burnt out. Hopefully I'll be able to think up an idea over the summer and converse with you! As I understand so far, junior year is a little less stressful, in that my life doesn't rely on me pumping out a "film"--I can turn in a pencil test if I want to. The only thing is that I don't know if my teacher will require us to tell a short story, or if it can be a little scene--or SONG, for us, if all goes well! See, if I can get the go-ahead, and not have to essentially have an ongoing plot, and since I've got the magnificent you on my team now (), a good, old-fashioned Disney ballad would be SOOOO MUUUUCCHHHH FUUUUNNNNNN. Would you have fun writing something like that? We'll have to see which way the wind blows for now.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, THOUGH! Sorry I took a million years to reply; the last few days of school were super busy. I hope your A Levels went/are going well and that you're having fun!

They're both really cute! I really like Sophie's hair, poofy/curly with the straight bangs. Reminds me of what my hair was like all through high school! And I love Lucas' eyes! But I'm really entranced by the back-drop, is it a photo or did you paint it?

<33 Thank you! Yeah, some characters are like that, but in a way you get especially close to them when you finally can pin them down. I'm so glad you like them!
