This is a great cosplay, I really like how you've managed to really pull of Ruby's look. Especially the hat, which I imagine must have been difficult to make/get a hold of. I like the look on Ruby's face, he could be scanning the area for a Pokemon or simply contemplating something to do with contests.
I like the background you chose for this picture; it has both a natural feel to it and yet you can tell that people still visit because of the structure in the back.
The only thing that feels a little off to me is the Pokeball; I feel that no trainer would just leave the Pokeball in a precarious spot like that, as if it is bumped even the slightest bit it could fall and then end up rolling away with the trainer frantically chasing after it. Of course, maybe I'm just over cautious, but that's what I immediately started fretting about. xD
All in all, I really like this picture. Hope you decide to do more Pokespe cosplays in the future.

Hmm, we'll that's an interesting idea, that way the wild Pokemon has no way of knowing an attack is coming, but I'll still probably still have the humorous picture of Ruby chasing a Poke ball downhill in my mind all day. xD
