Description
The Boy in the Iceberg!So i joined a group An artist's challenge is to finish a picture related to every single episode of Avatar The Last Airbender.
I thought this would be a fantastic way to really pay homage to one of my all time favourite series and the series that inspired me to begin drawing in the first place!
So what better way to start then with the very first episode!
This is probly my first real painting! would appreciate any advice! Thanks guys!

why not draw Sokka and Katara standing near the Ice berg?

Because i just wanted to focuse on the painting of the iceberg! it was hard enough without them ^^

anyway i see your point the drawing is better off without them infact the drawing looks more like a Sculpter.

The colours, especially on the iceberg.
The only thing that I don't like too much about it is the sky xD The purple streaks are very 'obvious' and less realistic. But otherwise, it's really pretty

This is well done- very good- one tiny suggestion though- a bit more o a wavy texture perhaps on the water...it looks a little too solid. But I'm no good at painting- so I really don't know if i'm qualified to give advice XD I love this though. The shadows are amazing- what kind of paint did you use?

i'm so glad you think so! i always look forward to your comments!!!!! and yea i think i did get it fairly close to how i wanted it! i don't know how some people can do amazing paintings, and some people do it all on one layer!
i was inspired by this pic =>[link] which was done on 1 layer! i wanted fairly harsh/bold lines but i tend to smooth things too much XD
