Description I ventured out this evening, clear skies, mist & fog on the water. I came across a mill house in the darkness, and captured it's mystical beauty. The outside lamp shone brightly through the mist but the stars still twinkled in the evening sky.

Yep, it's night time & so should be dark...shows the stars of a treat mate
I can see it'd be a good place to set off...nearly got myself run-over at that point of the bridge where there is an ideal tripod point

I've gotta ask..how do you set off with your camera & such when in your canoe?

I have waterproof bags Also my kayak is a large day tourer (called the Old Town Camden 120), and my canadian canoe is a large open canoe...can load up tons of gear in dry bags.

Ah... ok, I was thinking you are going along taking shots, but you mean you pull over & get out all your gear out of waterproof...sorry if I was having a moment

I've actually got a case which I put the SLR in and can use it whilst it's inside, and underwater too. So I can use the camera when I'm going along too
