i like this one too and the same pose in the stripes, the colours really do compliment each other, i hope i get the chance to do more like this sometime soon, all the lighting in both series is from a 12v LED combination one of my friends did for me at work from old LED's and i love the way it fills in the areas a flash would over expose even on the lowest settings

It's the colours and composition that do it but LED lights are very interesting. Are they on a large panel to give a soft box effect? I'm hopeless with flash because I don't do studio stuff and haven't taken the trouble to learn to use it properly. It's nice to be able to see where the light is before you take the pic.
