This is quite a picture! if only the game had been this wonderfully creepy and mysterious I might have been less annoyed with the story! I guess Capcom got so fed up with all the negative aspects of the older R.E. games, they some how got it into their heads that some of the positive aspects needed to go too! unfortunately we still have lame dialog, weak characterization and a disturbing lack of any C.Q.C. weapons aside from the knife! it's still a satisfying game but there are absolutely a few wrinkles I'd LOVE to see ironed out!

Ahh, well if you have a wii, I heard that it was definetly the best version. But I haven't played it so I don't know really. What is so great about it, specfically that so many people like?

I don't have a WII. Actually I don't own any video game systems myself. My girlfriend owns a PS2 as well as numerous other systems (she worked in a video game store all during college). I can't speak for others but I dig RE4 because it has a variety of villains and settings. I find that in a lot of games its the same thing over and over but with RE4 it changes up enough to where it doesn't get boring.

Game-wise, with the exception of the first one, the other ones were more like trigger-happy fun and less like survival/horror. I still like the 2nd one best.

I haven't played the earlier ones but I'll say that this game did a great job scaring the crap out of me with stuff like the chainsaw wielding characters. Sure, it wasn't as much "horror" but there were plenty of scary parts. Actually, I had a lot of really messed up dreams last night after playing this game for a while.

Badass drawing! I'm more of a fan of Resident Evil 2. Resident Evil 4 seems more like an action game then a horror survival game. I swear I had 2 bazookas at one time. I almost didn't bother playing after I found out Umbrella was gone, but eventually gave up on the game when I met Ada and Leon acted like it was no big deal to see her again.
