Fairly pleased with the colour in this one but I still don't know if I really like it. Macro photography of flowers is so hard to get a shot that really stands out and is really different. So some really strong opinions would help, comments and criticisms.Related content

what really makes this piece stand out to me are not only the contrasting colours but the shadows from the little blue things (not a florist obviously) it's a favorite for sure :]

Its a really nice close up shot, quet different as well because it looks pretty raw with natural light there and it's got the shade and bright parts too, it really works well because it brings out the middle part which is well detailed.

The center focus is very good. Its just unfortunate the leaves don't have much detail..... its all mainly blurred.

Thank you. Yeh I see what you mean about the leaves, I think there is so much contrast that the bit of detail there is in those leaves, is lost.

Aww. We've just had winter and rain, it's summer now so everything is out flowering and growing, it's great.
You can still get great shots in the rain and winter though!
