I agree! Bugger the walk and straight to the trophy rainbow trout Of course my trophy fish so far has been a minnow the size of a peanut I will take a photo of the trout they have in the hatchery museum tank(alive) it will blow you away how big they are. They also have a few fresh water sturgeon that are 10' long! from the river up here...

I have seen bear scat(crap) on the trails a few times but no bears.. I have a possum that comes every night to try to get in my garbage He is big, and you wont believe how fast they can really run when you scare them He did not fall over and play possum when I scared him He ran like a greyhound race dog! I have Blue birds that come to be fed every morning as well as robins and other small birds. I did hear a cougar(a big growl) up above town one time hiking,, scared the shit out of me. You can usually hear a bear in the woods, but rarely will hear a big cat. Makes them dangerous on the trail if startled/confronted. Other than that I do have deer and some elk that eat the berries down below my shop toward the river. Will get a photo for you.

Oh wow , that sounds very interesting although the cougar is something I wouldn't want to encounter . That would be awesome to see the deer , thanks my friend .

The deer are very wary of humans here in this area because of the abundant hunting. It is not deer season now so they come around the area below the house more often The one deer has a fawn now.
