Description Not entirely happy with this one but ah well, you don't finish art you abandon it.
Loosely based on the UFO episode "The man who came back" this was meant to be a beauty shot with S.I.D (Space intruder Detector), that rather cute looking satellite that SHADO has and speaks in an epic voice. But then i accidentally unleashed a can of woopass on him and it turned into something a little more dramatic, paving the way for Martin Bower's "S.I.D2" [link]

Made using Vue 9, Photoshop, sweat, blood, tears and Particle illusion.

Still waiting for news on UFO the Movie. That said though i have a feeling we might get some more UFO sooner than we think .

WoWW! Saw the link of SID 2 - SHIT!!! What a ship!

Yes remember that, pity they did not do more but money talks. Great series - as for a movie, seriously doubt it but be nice if made - providing they don't F*** it up or do it in "EYE POPPING 3D" - meaning £15 quid per ticket!!

Just needed some debris falling away and it be spot on.

Excellent work! As an aside, I always wondered why S.I.D had a Vostok stuck on the front

Awwwh, poor SID. Love the lighting effects on this.

Interesting quote there 'you don't finish art, you abandon it'
(It's like being a parent, you send your art out into the wider world, and you hope it reflects well on you, but that it can stand well on its own two feet) got that analogy of a really awesome book

Cheers I loved the sunset, wasn't as sure as to Sids composition, had to mask out the origional UFO and put in a new one as it looked terrible.

Its a quote My editing teacher mentioned and sometimes it is so true, there was something bugging me i couldn't put my finger on, but after two and a half days i figured i needed to call it quits.

Aye, Mel Oxley, did good

New UFO will be a hell of a lot different I fear, series reboots haven't got a good record.

I liked the new Captain Scarlett, so who knows.

Well totally different isn't always bad, when people aren't complaining about the accuracy of remakes to the original, they complain how there is nothing new in hollywood, as long as the story is good, i'm in.
