You could call this a companion piece to this picture , being the Mission control section of this structure. I figured I hadn't enough set design and location work for my portfolio so this is the first of several attempts to rectify that.

This is a small Mission control room located in the subterranean section of the base used to control and coordinated unmanned drones which explore the sea's of Europa. There are 3 main consuls, the Control, the Data telemetry and the surface mapping station. On the lower level is an observation deck. Additional graphics can be displayed on the windows if need be.

A little in joke I put in for the sake of it. Below the larger monitors are panels with a large cluster of colored lights. This is a section of an AN/FSQ-7 computer. These fairly antiquated computers turned up in everything from "The Man From Uncle" to "Spaceballs" and where a fairly common symbol of the future.
