Description Happy Birthday to Raax the Ice Warrior [link]
(because where I come from its customary to wait 4 days after a persons birthday to give them their present ]endlameexcuse.

One she requested a while back, a crossover between Doctor Who and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
This one actually ended up being a bit of a head melter as the Mysteron Complex in Crater 101 made very little physical sense. While thats not necessarily hard to do in CG, having floating walls etc generally gives the impression of a bad CG model. What I did in the end was make the set in an all black void and put loads of semi reflective perspex walls all over the set. I then pulled out every photoshop trick in the box to make them look as etherial as in the episode.

Made in Vue 9 Google Sketchup, high 5s, birthday wishes and Photoshop.

The only critique I could offer of this picture is that it is far too sweet as hell. I think you've really overdone the awesome a bit. Not that I'm advocating you curtail kicking ass in future pictures. I'm just sayin.
Seriously. Cool stuff.

Thanks very much for the birthday picture. That looks awesome.

The set you did for the Mysterion complex looks really nice. Very creepy, infinite and claustrophobic thanks to the dark lighting. The streaking lights from the Mysterion complex look really cool
And I love how the Mysterion complex mirrors the Doctors TARDIS column.

Thanks very much

No problem, glad it worked. Id actually decorate my house like that if i had an endless supply of perspex. Would be hell to dust though.
