Description Crossover numbers 7, 8 and 9 have appeared.

The Shadow Sirens, Beldam, Vivian and Marilyn have chosen a new look for the crossover.
Their bios are listed separately.

Beldam *Ice Type Bonus*
She is a boss character, and is the leader of the Shadow Sirens.

During the events in the game, she is said to be one thousand years old.

For years she acted as the Shadow Queen's servant, though this ended once the queen became trapped inside the Thousand-Year Door by the four heroes.

Being loyal to her queen, Beldam composed a plot to free her from the jail by creating rumors that a great treasure awaits inside, causing people around the world to want to go and find it.

In all there are three Shadow Sirens, the other two including the silent one known as Marilyn, and the other one known as Vivian.

She came to like the former, though grew a deep hatred for the latter, often times blaming her for things that she in fact did not do.

Merilyn *Electric Type Bonus*
She is rather large and is described by Goombella as "a strong and silent type".

She always express herself with phrase like: "Guuuh! Guh huh!" The only two words she speaks are "The Thee" when the Shadow Sirens introduce themselves to Mario in Chapter 2.

Her lightning attacks can deal heavy damage in the second battle with the Shadow Sirens, where Vivian is replaced by Doopliss.

Marilyn never really expresses her personality and just seems to be like Beldam's puppet.

Unlike Vivian, Marilyn is not usually yelled at and taunted by Beldam.

Beldam seems to rely on Marilyn's strength, which can make her personality towards Marilyn, be that of "false care" to which she only cares about Marilyn because she needs her to beat Mario.

Vivian *Fire Type Bonus*
Vivian was originally a member of the Shadow Sirens, and evil group of witches that consist of three siblings, Vivian being one of them.

You acquire Vivian as a partner by finding the Superbombomb she lost.

She is the one who loses Flurrie's necklace which you must acquire to have Flurrie as a partner.

Through the game, you could tell that Vivian didn't like the group, and later on in the game, got so mad and joined Mario's party to fight evil, also facing the two remaining sisters.

At the end of the game, the Shadow Sirens mellowed out and lived in peace.

In the original Japanese version, Vivian is actually male.

Most official translations keep this aspect of the character except for the English release, which was censored by Nintendo of America.

Half of their moves are the same as each others, the other moves are based on the type bonuses.

I always thought this: giggle:

Yeah, we know Beldam is a thousand years old but it makes you wonder how old Marilyn and Vivian are. Beldam looks like an old hag but Marilyn looks like a women in her 20's or early 30’s and Vivian looks like a teenager or like she is her early 20’s so I guess they must be a few years younger than her (being the younger sisters and all), especially since Vivian didn't seem to know anything about the shadow queen.

Awesome game man, awesome game.

And great work here.
I never really noticed how similar the Shadow Sirens were to Mismaginous. (Or however you spell that.)

The Shadow Sirens look so much like Mismagius because the heads look like witches hats, which if you look at the Shadow Sirens they are witches with hats that look similar to Mismagius'
