Yeah, I had to make this in time for my friend's birthday, not to mention I don't actually know Ratchet too well, and this was my first time attempting to make this character! If I made or even just drew Ratchet on a daily basis, I'd probably have a better looking figurine. But I'm happy you like it anyways!

Heh, heh, I think that sounds cool. I'd probably have to get to know Ratchet a little better though. This was actually a gift for a friend, and I didn't really know about Ratchet until he asked for this to be a gift.

So this is really my first attempt of making the character........

You've done quite well for someone unfamiliar with the duo. I'm surprised its honestly your first attempt, you got Ratchet's proportions right. Take your time, study a few references then surprise your friend with a newer version

Well when I was younger I started with the ol' Play-doh until one of my family members were nice to get me some actual clay. It was cheap kid's air dry clay but I liked it and made like a hundred horses.

Then, I got into middle school and kinda gave up.

It was just until like two years ago I was sprung with inspiration and BAM! I was working with REAL baking clay that I could paint and simply be awesome with. Have you seen my other clay dudes?
