Please don't get confused by what i am trying to portray. It is not a question in which you should choose between religion or relationship; but a question of whether or not Christianity is a "RELIGION" or a RELATIONSHIP with God,,
My answer: Christianity isn't supposed to be a religion but a simple relationship with God,,, Religion involves rules which as relationship involves LOVE,,,hard to fully explain but that's basically my point

Well according to the bible itself, jesus sacrificed himself so that we would be free from hell. This allows humans to act as they are naturally supposed too, mistakes and all. I wasn't raised Christian either, my parents were a protestant and a Baptist. They believed that I should learn about the world and then choose, so in a way I have a completely naturally made relationship with god and became Christian after finding him instead of trying to find him.

Religion means a sort of relationship. It is from latin re-ligo (religare), to tie, to bind together God and our world.
So I'm wondering what are you trying to demonstrate. Do you know what religion really is?

Biblical Christianity is different than all "religions" because it give people hope. In religions you have to earn your way or have the "gods" spare you from disaster through sacrifices. On the contrary Biblical Christianity states the truth in that Jesus died and rose again. He can save you from sin if only you repent and ask Him to come into your life.

But Christianity is about a relationship with God + the lifestyle a person leads because of that.
