This must be how you saw the battle... COOL! To be honest, I would feel sorry for the person that mistakens Samuel for God. They say that you can't see God's face before you die... I think that's true due to the fact that my teacher in my aunt's bible study said that. *My mom* Anyways... getting off topic... THIS IS AMAZING! I MEAN REALLY! You should start a comic, or a movie... *sniff* this is amazing! I WANT IT FOR MY FAVS! YAY!

acrylics and pen and ink..i drew it out..painted it with light washes of acrylic paint and then inked where the original linework was..lots of work but the mixed media creates a distinctive look an hides flaws in the piece that would otherwise be visable if it were solely painted or solely inked..

ok, just one question. why does everyone draw God as some really really old guy with a loooong beard? its god, sure he could be a burning bush, but why then would he be an old dude? why not a young dude? wierd architype i think..

thats not God ..its the prophet samuel with the guy underneath him being king saul..the archtype comes from an old dude being both old and having the wisdom old age brings like God..i assume..
