so this is what i am up to these days.
spent so much time on this but still feel unsatisfied, but i just tried my best
its so hard to draw night scene with purple buildings, i hope the focus of the picture is still on Mettaton (but the pic looks so messy )
anyway i will just try and try again next time, to fix my background drawing and lighting, i wanna make the picture looks more realistic but not too dull.
Back to the characters! spoilers alert
I think Mettaton will somehow miss his old days with his ghost pals, sitting and reading his old dairies. (the one he holds!)
He shouldnt in EX form but HEH i like drawing him in EX-version
and i had edited abit his resort, including adding the fountain in front of the building.
i wish i can make it more stylish like the grand resorts we have always seen, but i gave up because it just doesnt look like MTT resort.
anyway i tried to add catty and bratty stores too! i couldnt fit their store inside the pic sadly.
oh Frisk is holding MTT burger btw, it's so dark to be seen xD
well i have to say i still need more practice but i hope you guys enjoy this even its not perfect!
This is Mettaton EX, Frisk, Catty, Burgerpant and Sans (if you saw him) from Undertale.

I love this peace! it is amazing! You put so much detail into this peace. From the Lighting to the background characters! You included stuff like Sans on the top floor, and Burger Pants on floor 3! You added Shading to this, which makes it even better! You also added Catty in the back round going into Catty & Bratty's shop. You are giving us the entire Mettaton experience, in one drawing! i love the brush textures you used in the sky and the fountain, and the colours blend together really nicely. i also love how you drew burgerpants and sans in the windows, that's a nice touch and it makes the picture feel busier in a good way. mettaton also looks great, i love the way you drew him. great job!

I honestly really like this one! The contemplative expression on Mettaton's face is really nice, and I love Frisk and their burger (as well as Sans creeping from the top floor).

Though you had trouble drawing the building I think it looks very good!
I think all of the background looks pretty realistic too! Realistic does have to be perfect or else that Idealistic (as in a real thing draw to it's "ideal" form/appearance)
The world of Undertale is a simple one in looks so it makes sense why a simpler design fits it better
I love seeing how many of the Undertale cast you can fit into one drawing. It's always never not impressed me how many you can fit in so naturally

I have a few suggestions that might help, if that's what your looking for?
You have a lot of light sources, but very few dark shadows. Perhaps by upping the contrast you might be able to enhance it, I'd suggest the area that would best be suited to this the building itself. I would also see about fuzzing the background out a bit more and reviewing your 2 point perspective lines and vertical lines. More details and contrast in the foreground while working to darken and fading the background might help this piece a lot.Β
Don't get me wrong though, I like the piece. I really like the fountain and the foreground....I think your really improving! Night scenes are hard....Β Β Β

yea i put too many light sources, the building should have light through the windows based on original MTT resort, in the same time i was afraid its not balance if there's too dark in left side, so i add the lamp as well.
well i will think more after this, maybe adding the depth of the pic will help,
in fact i was using 3D model to help me in perspective in this pic, i wasnt sure if it is correct though, ><

This looks gorgeous tbh. the lighting looks good and I think its great to feel unsatisfied with ones work. It pushes us to strive forward and improve. Btw, I think Frisk themselves looks like a burger X'DD
