I haven't seen a lot of the Ben 10 Reboot outside of Youtube clips of various episodes. I really should get around to watching it, I hear it really improves and gives a lot of new, fun ideas. One of the things I really like is how it handles Kevin 11. I'm a sucker for evil counterparts and I love how each of Kevin's aliens is unique compared to Ben's. However, I feel like Ben 10,010 missed a great opportunity for a redo of Kevin 11,000, and I find Humungoraptor to be too generic an idea. I'm also not a fan of any of the Antitrix amalgam forms. Monster Kevin feels like it was put together thoughtlessly and is less cohesive than Kevin's mutations normally are. AntiVilgax has the opposite problem; He's over-designed.

So I decided to try create my own Antitrix-based Kevin 11,000.

Most of the design was already decided by the original Kevin 11,000 (Which is my favorite Kevin mutation). Since all of Kevin's aliens are analogous to Ben's, figuring out the layout wasn't too hard. All I needed to do was incorporate the four aliens that don't appear in the original in any capacity: Undertow, Thornblade, Wreckingbolt, and Crystal Fist.

For Undertow, I incorporated his arm cannon into the right arm, replacing the swampy water in his tank with Hot Shot's flaming plasma.

For Thornblade, it was simply a matter of replacing the Null Guardian tentacles with his thorn covered vines.

For Crystal Fist, I just used his crystal shards in place of Quad Smack's arm spikes. I originally thought of attaching Crystal Fist's entire forearm to Quad Smack's, but with the Bootleg/Rush tentacle coming out of the elbow, that didn't feel right.

All that leaves is Wreckingbolt. Despite being the easiest to incorporate by slapping the shoulder shells on, I almost forgot to include him until after I finished the initial line art. After I incorporated him, I decide to change the spikes on his shell to more crystal shards to give Crystal Fist some more presence. I also include some detailing similar to the suit he wears on the lower body.

And so, we have my take on a reboot Kevin 11,000, made up of all eleven Antitrix aliens. We have:

- Hot Shot: Torso, head, and upper right arm tentacle.

- Dark Matter: Legs and right eye.

- Wreckingbolt: Shoulder shells and lower body.

- Undertow: Upper right arm cannon.

- Quad Smack: Arm count and upper left arm.

- Bootleg: Tentacle coming out of upper left elbow.

- Rush: Tip of tentacle coming out of upper left elbow.

- Bashmouth: Lower arms.

- Skunkmoth: Wings.

- Thornblade: Four tail vines.

- Crystal Fist: Spikes on upper left arm and shoulder shells.

During coloring, I sampled all of the Antitrix aliens, but wound up playing with most of them to make them more vibrant. I also reversed the colors on the Antitrix symbol on his chest, making it a black K on a red background rather than a red K on a black background, and gave it a standard black outline rather than a colored one to really sell the idea that the Antitrix is malfunctioning.

It's stated that AntiVilgax is what Ben and Kevin could do if they knew how to properly use their watches beyond turning into single aliens. So I imagine that at some point, Kevin tried to follow Vilgax's lead and use the Antitrix to it's full potential. But due to his inexperience and lack of knowledge of how it actually works, it resulted in all the Antitrix's circuits getting fried mid-transformation, trapping Kevin as a chaotic amalgam of all the Antitrix aliens.
