Definitely the most passionate and intense Disney couple. I think they did more kissing and hugging than all of the other Disney movies combined. Quick sketch, done in PS5.I still think John Smith is the hottest Disney guy. Just sayin.

So beautiful. Such simple coloring but you still were able to really capture the burning romance between them. Even if you hadn't seen Pocahontas, you'd still be able to see how much they love each other. That takes talent, to really draw people with emotion. Wonderful job!

This movie is one of the best...and even though disney tried to be historically accurate with the second movie, I wish that they had NEVER made it. Because I'm such a freaking fan of Pocahontas and John Smith. John Rolfe can go jump off a cliff~

I really wish I haven't seen the second movie as well. It made the ending of the first one meaningless. Anyway, as I grew up I started to prefer other Disney movies but John and Pocahontas, in their Disney incarnations, will always remain a wonderful couple.

And I was thinking about it just today: usually the Disney couples share one kiss, or even no at all, and they kissed two times! And hugged! there were no "I'd kiss you but I'm a soft princess", it was so adult and so passionate, as you put it. Love
