Description Not that I designed these, but upon arriving today I was so overjoyed they finally got here that I just had to show e'm off. Might look like they go with my jacket, buuut the jacket is a different red, so not so sure I do like this more intense red more though. I plan on wearing them to a convention later this year, hopefully I'll get some decent full-body shots then while I'm actually in them

Hi, what is the code/number of this model? Or the link to buy?

These are the 151's, in the "metallic" range. they're a bit pricey though, but noticeably cool (though I don't have these anymore, I sold them and used the money to buy another model I liked more )

I did order a great jacket to match these recently, it arrived yesterday but it was too big I've sent it back now in exchange for a smaller size. Hopefully it'll be here within the next few weeks since I plan on wearing the full outfit to Supanova Sydney this year. With people wearing all kinds of cool (often anime-inspired) stuff there, I could easily get some positive attention for it in a place like that I should hopefully be able to get some decent photos then.

Oh snaaaaaap it keeps happening doesn't it. Ordering stuff online, turning out too big....good thing you are able to return them, I tried to return a boot once but the post office said that it needs like 100$ shipping because of the size so....yeah it's just sitting under my bed collecting dust and I just wasted 150$.

Where did you ordered it from and was it custom?

Do you open trading tables? You would sure agather attention with those gears! Oh man, hope you consider travelling to other cons so I may see you one day

BUT CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FULL LOOK

Sending mine back cost $100 too. Normally I wouldn't bother, but it was one hella-expensive jacket which I had been putting commission-incomes asides for for months now. I'm a little embarrassed to say it cost little over 1k since it is a designer brand (never had anything designer brand before) But her eit is anyway: godsofmankind.com/products/cop… After seeing the first one they sent, it's easy to see why it was worth so much, it was stunning! But indeed too big so they said they'd send out another one as soon as they know the other is back in the US on its way there. Their service was really good before ordering so I don't doubt them

I was going to get another custom order one made (one not uploaded here yet) but I think I've done enough splurging for now. Maybe that can be a next-year purchase

Wow, holy shit, dude, wow.

You must have such a great income to even be able to spend that much. Me in my current economic condition can't even dream of buying a 200$ Newrocks.

But you'd totally look stunning tho....those red pads are really interesting, I have never seen padding done that well before.

Eh, I only make an average wage. Though I do commissions on the top. So it certainly wasn't a light-hearted purchase and I had to think very carefully as to whether or not buying it was a good idea. I've known about it since November last year and it has been in my thoughts literally every single day since then. Not buying it would have driven me crazy for the rest of my life

Plus there's nothing else I really want after that anyway. I tend to have expensive tastes but its countered by the fact I rarely see anything I actually want, giving me a chance to start saving up again

I suppose your commission would earn you plenty considering your popularity....I still only make 50 per picture at most, with each picture taking more than a few days :/

But hey, you've got that pants, that boots, another boots before and 2 jacket of similar styles if I remember correctly....so you sure have been spending much lately?

Chromattix In reply to RadenWA [2015-06-03 09:17:49 +0000 UTC]

I must admit I've spent a lot this year and last year. But I am approaching a decent enough variety of jackets and boots to choose from, as time goes by I see fewer and fewer online that I think are better than mine. I do think I might end up spending a little more on that red/black one I had made earlier this year, in some ways it didn't come out as I imagined (wrong shade of red mostly) I keep searching around for a place that can re-colour leather but have had no luck finding one locally (I don't want to send it overseas). Thinking of having it made a brighter red to match the boots, or just go all-black so I can wear it with anything

But then again, I'd rather save my money since I found this person on Tumblr who does amazing leather work, most of the clothing they make are for females (hence all the women on this page painkillerclothing.tumblr.com/… ) but those spiked and studded jackets and pants are just too delectable to pass up And they already told me they can do stuff for men too, I sent her a design and she liked it, but when I asked for a price quote she didn't respond. I might try again later, otherwise I'm just gonna upload the design to dA and see if I get any takers. Her work there actually looks better than the ones that made my other jacket...too bad I didn't discover her gallery of work first But knowing it won't be ready in time for the convention means it isn't high priority to me now and it can wait until next year.

Oh well, let's focus on what you have for now man, and it's winter so you can start wearing them around! I know I can't wait to wear that thick red/black jacket that I shown you before But it's just so thick that it's actually not cold enough to wear it!

That site looks great! You know what. If you do commission her....get something that is like more tight fitting? Like something with exposed shoulders. That gonna be different from your usual jackets. But only if you're into that look...

Chromattix In reply to RadenWA [2015-06-04 02:14:29 +0000 UTC]

Haha, yes - the only good thing about winter - Gearing up time

I was thinking of commissioning her to make a cropped leather jacket sort of style (that's how I designed this one) since even though they're usually affiliated with women's jackets - I've seen enough male fictional characters with the same style to know they can look quite hot on men too (Squall has one, as does Trunks). With a lot of studs and spikes on it too and the same red/black theme I've been going with since finding those boots

Chromattix In reply to RadenWA [2015-06-04 03:41:55 +0000 UTC]

His seems more longer and loose though My dream jacket would be something like this sakimichan.tumblr.com/post/739… or this www.tomopop.com/ul/8041-550x-z… Both sexy cropped jackets themselves. They seem to do wonders for the male figure, giving the illusion of upper body strength

RadenWA In reply to Chromattix [2015-06-05 05:14:13 +0000 UTC]

Ah yeah! Midriff jacket! I have myself even bought some kid's jacket so that the waistline would be higher and would kinda look like a midriff jacket. It's such a shame it hasn't been accepted as a casual men design! But yeah definitely you should commission something like that.

Exactly, and I just loooove her! The style she sports
is absolutely awesome ( and you know that yours is too!).
Unfortunately I cannot wear such style at my job,
a bookseller is not supposed to look like that.
I have to look more "mainstream".
Have a great sunday!

I have to wear a uniform for my job It would be great to work in an environment that would allow me to wear what I like.

anne1956 In reply to Chromattix [2015-03-28 12:20:21 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it would. And what's even worse, here in Germany
we booksellers can't even deduct our costs for clothing,
because they say that we could just as well
wear the clothing also in private life.
So no money back.

I'm growing fonder of red and black in recent times. I think with anything leather or metallic it's a winning combination with lots of appeal

I bought these online from the New Rock store. New Rock have the biggest and best collection of boots I've ever seen, they aren't cheap I'll have to admit - but once you see them in person you know they're the real deal and worth it I say

Actually they are a little tighter than I hoped, in the more literal sense of the word I'm gonna have to wear them in quite a bit first before I take them out anywhere I think.
