Description ....and the other one.

Yeah, i know that Jennifer Connolly was like 14 years old when filming Labyrinth, but i was like eight when i saw that movie. So it's okay.

Why can't i find a pic of Ellen Brandt with the glowing eyes?

If you listen to people on the streets, they make it sound like the original Star Trek was nothing but Kirk hitting on green women.  Turns out, there's only... like two.  And Marta was the main one.  Anyone else think that the relationship between her and Lord Garth was exactly like that between The Joker and Harley Quinn?  Is it just me?

Michonne is great because she's the first character in that show that you don't hate.  Lori?  Andrea?  They stink.  But... i want to know what sort of job Michonne had before the zombies came and she became a ninja badass.  What was she, a waitress?  Budget analyst?  Physical therapist?  MMA fighter?  I want to know.

I had to remove Daenerys Targaryen from this list because... now that i've actually seen Game of Thrones, i realize she needs to be way higher.  She's replaced by the vile, despicable, awesome Lydia Rodarte-Quayle.

Killing the Witch-King in LotR is really nothing. He hardly did anything he didn't completely fail at the whole film.

Nah, man.  The Witch King is a hard baby, you don't even know.

Thanks.  I may need to tweak this one, though... now that i've seen Game of Thrones, i realize that Daenerys needs to be a lot higher.

Yes, yes she is.  When i made this list, i wasn't... sure.... how old she was, and thought she might be 13 years old or something.  But nah, she's the Queen.

lol.
I think the youngest on your list is Sarah from Labyrinth. Jennifer Connelly was about 15/16 when she made that movie.

I knoooooow.

And when i was eight years old, she was an "older hot girl."

I wasn't born yet.
I'm 25 now, so saying she was "hot" in Labyrinth might be creepy of me.
I'll say: She was beautiful and cute!

You're in for a few treats with Game of Thrones. Although Daenerys there does do some pretty stupid things, at times. Then again, she's not the only person who believes an advisor telling them "the people love you, they're just waiting for you to take the throne."

I MUST begin Game of Thrones soon.

....but everyone's talking about how good Hannibal is...

I haven't seen Hannibal, I'll admit, and it doesn't really sound like my kind of thing. I do recommend, though, Boardwalk Empire. Steve Buscemi as the crime kingpin of 1920's Atlantic City. It's gold.

Agreed on Mako. That movie would've been improved 100% by concentrating on Mako & Stacker, because the "main character" had all the personality of a slice of Wonder Bread. Some lighting in the action scenes wouldn't have hurt either.

Lightning... i never noticed that. Maybe a little.

I saw it in 3D and seriously couldn't tell what was going on in the fight scenes half the time because it was so dark (and usually in extreme closeup so I had no context).

I saw it in a theater where the volume was so loud, i literally had my fingers plugged into my ears half of the time. When i saw it again on DVD, i liked it a lot more.

Ah, Marta.

You're so right on her being all Harley Quinn

Chronorin In reply to Zoe-the-Pink-Ranger [2013-12-08 01:57:52 +0000 UTC]

"He's my lover... so i have to KILL him!"

Marta's death was the most shocking moment in Trek for me. And if the story of the Joker and Harley ever came to an end, (which it won't because comics have to go forever,) i imagine it being very similar.

Lord Garth. What a f**khole.

There was also that scene in Clerks 2 where Becky and Dante danced on the rooftop to ABC and her boobs bounced around a lot.  It was awesome...

Yeah, that was cool.

And in the movie Trance, you can see her fully nude. And it's a good movie as well. Not as good as Slumdog Millionaire or Trainspotting, but a decent rental. Did i mention she's nude?

You had me at "nude".  Now I need to find this movie...

It just came out a few months ago. Shouldn't be hard to find. Rosario Dawson and Mr. Tumnus, er, i mean James McAvoy?

Chronorin In reply to Blackbird2 [2013-12-07 17:10:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it was Danny Boyle's big follow-up to Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours.... but it kinda fell flat at the box office. People expect mad genius from Danny Boyle, and he delivered just a slick, modern thriller.

Still, better than 80% of movies out there.
