Can any villain this year top Spinel for pure compellingness? Not even Thanos had a song that i listened to 50 times on YouTube!

...i also want to give extra props to the fictionalized version of real-life serial killer Ed Kemper who appears on the Netflix series Mindhunter. He's a very unique villain, because most of the time, he's a big, goofy know-it-all who is in prison and will never get out. But then, at times, both the characters in the show and the audience have to be reminded that he's almost seven feet tall, has a remarkably high IQ, and has killed numerous people. He's a pure monster, but trapped in the skin of that annoying guy from work who won't shut up about some damned thing.

Mindhunter is also notable because the main character is played by Jonathan Groff, the actor who voices Kristof in Frozen. Whenever i hear "Lost in the Woods," i just think of Holden Ford belting out the tune.
