The lunar world which lies beyond our's. It is unimaginable who lives there and how do they live by this world's laws. Self-sustained, highly advanced both in magic and technology race lives here. They are Lunars.

Their culture is strange to overworlders, but it is noticable straigt away that Lunars do respect their legacy and origin. Mostly conservative, Lunars do not visit our world often, and only on the very special occasions.
It was Lunars who discovered humanity and they were the ones to come in contact. But Lunars were dissapointed in what they have met beyond the moon. Weak, unfaithful and barbaric people, countless in numbers who live in vast word, dfar bigger than Lunar's.

Sometimes however, Lunars may be interested by overworld's artifacts or highest, brand new inventions. Or slaves.
Only lunars from the New City are granted permission to visit the overworld. Those who live in the Old City do not travel to the overworld, unless os some unique occasions, mostly regarding trading and politics.
Even though Lunars rarely visit overworld, they do possess rather expencive recources to trade. Their materials are radiating with magic, metals have unique properties, gems have unique looks, shapes and colours.
All this is priced beyond any regular human's budget, and only bought by corporations, extremely rich people, or is traded for whatever takes a lunar's interest.
Slaves are mostly used as home maids and fighters in Grand Lunar Colloseum.

Lunars are using unique form of currency: handcarved beads and bars from common materials. The size equals amount of details, and a good quality work is priced well.
Lunar's currency are also their show of wealth, as beads and bars used as jewelry. Many-many beads are assembled in massive necklaces, that are often folded twice or thrice. And on this necklace is big ornament made of beads and bars. This all marks the wealth of a lunar.
Also their classical clothing: a long dresses made of multi-layered clothes, is also decorated with beads and bars.
Only poor lunar is a lazy lunar, who do not want to work for themselves.

Lunars are greatly suited for physical, magical and intellectual work.
They have formed unique martial arts that is suited for their anatomy and they use it graciously, leaving no enemy standing.
Their magic is immeasurable, and even a novice Lunar can easilly compete with an archmage of overworld in terms of magic potential.
There is a big academy of culture built on the far island, surrounded by the forrest. There is where all willing lunars learn of their culture and history.

Ecology beyond the moon is different, odd organics and strange critters, some of which are frightenly dangerous. Vastly vried flora and fauna.
However, there are patterns that can be seen in all flora and fauna: they consist of prolonged shapes, some are bioilluminescent.
Lunars respect their world, and treat it with care. One of the trees is even considered sacral.

Lunars are also religious, which is very unlike the overworld. But the only this is known is that they speak to their Motra. Who or whatever is that is unkown.
No matter what, their faith stands strong, and those are unlucky who speak unwisely regarding Lunar's religion.
