"Sebastian?"

The tall man stopped and turned around. He held out the candelabra further out in front of him and noticed the top of a young girls head.

A giggle. "I'm down here."

Sebastian kneeled down to the young girl's height and got a full view of her face. Based upon her large, glowing (e/c) and her tidy (h/c) (h/l) locks, the young lady had not slept a minute since he had put her to bed. He chuckled. "Lady (F/n), it is past your bedtime. Don't you think that you should hurry on back to your bed chambers?"

Young (F/n) sighed and fiddled with the hems of her nightgown. "I...couldn't sleep." She confessed, right before giggling once again. "I had a question to ask you!"

Such a lively young mistress.

"Oh?" Sebastian tilted his head to the side, giving the impression that he was honestly curious. "And what might such a question be?"

He was surprised when he saw her bubbly attitude quickly dissolve into dead-seriousness laced in her features. "Where do babies come from and how are they made?"

Sebastian blinked his red orbs once.

Twice.

Three times, now.

He cleared his throat. "Lady (F/n), might I inquire as to how this question formed in your mind?"

She pondered for a moment. "It started when me and father were in the park and I saw a woman pushing a stroller. I asked him, but he didn't say anything and told me to ask mother. So I did, but she didn't tell me anything either and told me to ask him! But I couldn't because I had to go to bed and I didn't get to ask you, Sebastian!"

Sebastian was mostly surprised by the fact that the young lady explained this all in one breath. He sighs and stands to his full height. "Perhaps you should not allow such questions to enter your mind until you're a bit older." He leans down and gently guides her back to your room.

"But Sebastian," she whines. "I wish to know now."

The two of them reach the appropriate destination and Sebastian quietly opens the door. He smiles knowingly and ushers the girl inside. "Like I had stated earlier, young mistress; when you are older, perhaps then your questions shall be answered."

Lady (F/n) sighs in defeat and walks in with her head lowered. "I still don't understand what the big deal is. All you have to do is just tell me how they're made."

"I'm afraid I cannot, young mistress." A cat-like grin grows onto his lips. "Now, I believe it is time for you to retire-"

"Sebastian!" Finality is heard in her young voice. "I order you to tell me how babies are created!"

Sebastian's eyes widen slightly and studies her. She's reminding him so much of her father at such a young age that it would scare him. He sighs; "If you truly wish to know, then I shall tell you. Only a little bit, however."

Satisfaction shown in her eyes. "Very well." Without another word, she walked to her bedside and climbed onto the (f/c) bed. She pulled the covers over her being and patiently waited for him.

Sebastian set the candelabra on the wooden end table and sighed, facing her way. "You see, young mistress. A child is conceived after an adult man and woman fall in love. When the both of them are ready, they decide to show them their love for each other in a much more...intimate way."

The young girl scrunched her nose in disgust. "Like kissing stuff?"

He chuckles. "Yes, like 'kissing stuff'. It is how you were born, young mistress."

Her eyes brightened. "Really?"

He nods. "Indeed. I was there with your mother during her labor."

"That's amazing." (F/n) says. Her eyes are casted to her bed and she smiles. "So...this kissing stuff happens when older people fall in love?"

"Usually, yes." Sebastian says. "Only if the two of them are comfortable with it."

"Okay..."

The room was filled with silence as the young girl sat in a comfortable silence. Sebastian patiently waited. Sensing much more questions from her, he asks; "Is that all, Lady (F/n)?"

"One more thing."

He lifts the candelabra from the table's surface and faces her once again. "Yes?"

Lady (F/n) smiles brightly with a light blush dotting her little cheeks. "I love you! So, when I get older; we can do the kissing stuff together! Right, Sebastian?"

Sebastian stared at the young girl in shock, occasionally glancing at the door in hopes of walking out the door and bidding her a goodnight. Instead, he covered his mouth with his free glove-clad hand.

"Oh my."

Such a lively young mistress, indeed...

"Sebastian?"
