How do you get the tones and colors so perfect like this? you must have an extensively good understanding of your camera and equipment. Is this post processed at all because it is very vivid and i would love to be able to make my work more like this and appriciate any tips.

Heh, looks like a friendly fellow. Getting him coming right at the camera offering a drink, it's like he's offering it directly to the viewing public. I want to hear the stories he's got to tell about whatever.

Something odd about his face though. Did you do a lot of dodging and/or burning to it?
