That's my wife. I put together that costume for her for Halloween. Go head, take a look on my main page, there are many more shots of her as well as explanations of what I did in reference to her costume.

Thank You. Yes, she did came out great! It was close to two months of work. Even though most items were bought and pieced together I did make the harness for the horns and the staff myself. Her hair style is my idea as well. She did the makeup. She also has the pointed ears too. The only place we ran into trouble was the contact lenses. As it turns out my wife already wears contacts, but she has astigmatism correction. This would make costume lenses very expensive. So I just opted to work with naturally very dark brown eyes. I have a couple of shots of her (when she does her menacing look) where those dark eyes just go right through you.

Oh, Ok. My bad, I thought you saw the film...especially now since the DVD is out. I do recommend seeing it. While it isn't a fully accurate representation of the classic Sleeping Beauty and there are plot twist that purists of Sleeping Beauty would object to, it is still worth seeing. I am not a big fan of Angelina Jolie, but yet she delivered a stunning performance portraying Maleficent. So much so, that I fell in love with the character....something that rarely happens to me.
Yeah, that song is cool. I heard it on the radio one day and it caught my attention. A few days later they played it again and I had my significant other use her smart phone's song sniffer on it and I got all the info. The radio is playing the song regularly now and I heard it this afternoon coming home from work and while I was going to resume work on my fanfic, I decided to create that photo edit first.
Well, at least you got the song out of it.

She is a favorite actress among many. I just wasn't too fond of the movies she was in. Even though I think she is pretty, I am not overly attracted to her. But she won me over with Maleficent. It is a case where I love the character more than the actress herself. That is a feat to be able to do that. This is certainly her moment of greatness and more then likely the movie she will be most identified with.

I don't know why they didn't leave this in the movie. Her delivery of the scene is awesome. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

Yeah, some of her movies have been just okay, I really liked her in Wanted and Mr. and Mrs. Smith

I didn't see Mr. & Mrs. Smith yet, but I heard that supposedly was her 'signature' film up until Maleficent. I did see the Lara Croft movies and they were just...meh. It was forgettable stuff.
I would say the ones I liked with her were Gia, the first time I saw her and Girl Interrupted. But again, these were not movies I would actually buy. But she just knocked it out of the ballpark this time with Maleficent. I love the accent she does and she just looks phenomenal. I consider Jolie at her 'prettiest' in this film. I think it is the facial makeup and the horns of course. But I just find her extremely attractive as Maleficent. But take all that off and I just think she is just good looking, but I don't go nuts over her.

Yeah, if you wanna see a really good performance from her (I hear the tomb raider movies weren't all that great), see Wanted or Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Oh man, I LOVE Girl Interrupted! That movie was incredible, very captivating. Great performance by Winona Ryder as well

Yes, I am a huge Winona Ryder fan. I love just about everything she is in.
