Description
This is an illustration I did today for an undisclosed RPG company. I used concept super hero characters derived by me for the production. Griffon, Delphi, Vector and Tengu are creations of mine used for this illustration only. Had fun in doing it to some degree, but super heroes are really for those who have a nack at it IMHO. Feel free to color them as they have no assigned colors.I will be back with more to come, looking fwd to getting some DS stuff up here soon

Thank You and actually its a yes and no. The Myths were a quick custom design team I came up with for a Palladiumbooks Heroes Unlimited RPG illustration, but they aren't an actual team used in comics or anything.

As always, the characters have a more than remarkable quality and also they're easy to distinguish hencing their names. The only flaw I find is the appearance of Grifon's wings, since they haven't got the detail and depth proper of your works and they look somehow flat and without any aparent volume and depth.
Perhaps being this ones lined like the characters but a tad lighter in the edges and getting darker as long as you get more inside them could cause a more than interesting lighting shock.
Also; as a curiosity, and talking about the names I don't see Tengu with the caracteristic long nose of his... maybe this is not the one I'm thinking about, though.

Thanks for the compliments and observations! THe windsgs on Griffon are actually made of energy. Its oenof the powers for the RPG. SO I didn't want to have hard lines on them. As to Tengu, Well the character is supposed to be able to convert into a type of T-1000 form but only in glass like substance. SO I used the element but I used the Tengu mask format that was based in the Kung Fu cult film, the Five Deadly Venoms. Those masks lacked the standard mythical Tengu long nose as they were for perforamnce sakes vs features. But thank you once again for checking out the Myths

Yeah, you may notice I'm a lot into myths so this composition called quickly my attention. Now I see Grifon's "wings" are like the energy grasp coming from Vector's hand, or at least sort of...
Also, after a quick Googling (since I haven't ever had the chance to watch the movie), I understand the twist given to Tengu (which mask is also identical!!).
As a last thing, I have uploaded recently a hand-drawn (altough filtered afterwards) deviation named "Ultimate Savior". For it, your work has been very inspiring as well as some other works like "Final Fantasy" series or "Ghost in the shell" and your insight of it would be priceless for me.

This is some excellent work
I'm thinking that the foreshortening of the heroines right leg maybe slightly too short, there's something about the angle too
Otherwise the whole piece is just awesome

Thanks, As you have stated I am not into the super hero scene as much anymore, but the good writing in some of the stories keeps me checking in on them.
